Vinyasa Flow Yoga


Vinyasa has been defined in a few ways.  Decoded from Sanskrit, Nyasa denotes “to place” and vi “in a special way.” It is also known as “breath-synchronized movement;” a way to integrate the breath and move with awareness.  A moving meditation. Vinyasa flow is dynamic and stimulating to the mind body and spirit with many physical benefits (i.e. getting a great workout!) It is a phenomenal way to learn how to be calm and peaceful in the midst of a great challenge, which can be carried with you outside the yoga studio. As it is a continuous flow of breath between the asanas (poses), you will become strong and supple. Yoga effectively promotes overall mental health, lower stress and increased focus and concentration. Vinyasa flow is a journey for all levels to experience a physical challenge, joy and a sense of play.
